Manjeri Municipality hands over necessary assistive devices to the differently-abled

Manjeri Municipality has included the necessary assistive devices to the differently-abled in the 2024-25 annual plan. The distribution ceremony was held at the town hall. 29 items of equipment such as wheelchair, airbed, commode chair, molded shoe, pediatric wheelchair, static cycle, sensory kit, therapy ball, voice recorder, walking stick and others were handed over. Hon. Municipality Chairperson Smt. V. M. Subaida inaugurated the event.

Vice Chairman V.P. Firoz presided over the event. The chairpersons of the Statnding  committee, Elsy Teacher, Rahim Puthukolli, Yashik Mecheri, N.K. Khairunnisa, Councilors Adv. Prema Rajeev, Faisal Palayi, Ashraf Kakkengal, Chirakkal Rajan, Jaseenabi Ali, Shaima Akkala, Muhmida Shihab, Fathima Suhra, Vallanchira Fathima, T. Sreeja, Mujeeb Rahman Vadakkidan, Saleena Teacher, Riyas Babu, Mujeeb Rahman Pareta, Baby Kumari, P. Sunitha, T. M. Nassar, ICDS Supervisors P. Girija and P. K. Shabeeba attended the function.
