AKRI INAUGURATION

Don't throw away diaper waste anymore... The municipality will come and collect it at your home...

There is no need to bother disposing of the diaper waste used in our homes anymore. For this, the municipality has prepared a new plan. The plan is being implemented in collaboration with the government-approved agency 'ACRI'. Every Wednesday, all the houses that register the app will be visited and the waste will be collected. Beneficiaries will have to pay Rs. 50 per kilo.

The flag-off and registration of the waste collection vehicle was done by Manjeri Municipality Chairperson V.M. Subaida. This will prevent the dumping of sanitary waste in public places.
