The project given by the Manjeri Municipality to construct a park at Vettekode and Payyanad Kuttipara of Municipality has received administrative approval. 1.25 crores for Vettekode Hill View Park and 1.50 crores for water conservation and beautification of Kuttipara Nedukappara Quarry have been sanctioned under the Amrit Project.

It was the constant intervention of the municipality that made it possible to get approval for such a large project. The quarry in Nedukappara had earlier been included in the Amrut project and renovated in a beautiful way. The project is being prepared by utilizing other areas around it.
