ISO certification for Manjeri Municipality in the glow of quality.
ISO certification for Manjeri Municipality based on the implementation of a complete quality system. The certification was recommended considering the physical facilities for the public, record room, ISO documentation, office cleanliness, various meeting minutes, services provided by the municipality and various activities.
The inspection was conducted by Tata Quality Services, which is accredited by NABCB (National Accreditation Board for Certification Bodies). The consultancy service was provided by Kila. Various services were completed on time. A record room was set up in a good way to store files. Boards, employee attendance, drinking water on all floors and various inf
ormation boards were also prepared for the public to identify themselves when they come to the municipality. Building files, licenses and pension applications were processed quickly. The draft certificate with the recommendation has been sent to TQ Cert. The original certificate will be available within a week after it is approved.
Former Malappuram DDP VP Sukumaran and TPremanandan, who was the Panchayat Secretary of Thrissur, led the inspection.. The exit meeting held at the Municipal Council Hall was inaugurated by Chairperson VM Subaida. Standing Committee Chairpersons Yashik Mechery, N.M .Elsy and N.K. Khairunnisa, Councilors N.K. Umar Haji, Husain Mechery, T.M. Nassar, T. Sreeja, Fathima Suhra, Municipal Secretary Y.P. Muhammed Ashraf, Superintendents Krishnan Mundian Tharakkal, Aseena Beegum and Muraleedharan Punnakkuzhi, Clean City Manager J.A. Nujoom, Municipal Engineer Nandakumar, ISO Senior District Program Manager M. Thajuddin, Municipal employees and councilors participated and spoke at the function.
